Vaccine Clinic Volunteers Needed

Canton Township, in partnership with local providers, is hosting several Vaccine Clinics. If you are at least 16 years of age and interested in volunteering, we encourage you to sign-up. All volunteers must have a current volunteer application on file with the Township.

  • Volunteer Shifts Available (HTML): please note, shifts are tentative based on vaccine availability. Additional shifts may be added in the future; check back regularly for updates.
  • Adult Volunteer Application (18+ years)
  • Youth Volunteer Application (16-17 years): anyone 16-17 years volunteering and interested in receiving the vaccine must have an adult guardian present or available by phone at the time of vaccine.
  • Shift Details: 
    • Location: Summit on the Park - 46000 Summit Parkway, Canton MI 48188
    • Time: 7:30 am-3:30 pm
    • Please dress comfortably and pack a lunch
    • All volunteers and visitors must wear a face mask and follow all safety guidelines.

Applications & Information

Volunteer Training

Canton Township volunteers are required to attend training a minimum of one time per year. The training provides volunteers with information about upcoming events, customer service, and emergency preparedness. All registered volunteers will be emailed of upcoming volunteer training dates.

Meals on Wheels and Pheasant Run Golf Club Volunteers

For positions requiring driving, volunteers must submit a Michigan Driving Record Check form, in addition to the Volunteer Application for Adults. Please complete sections 3 and 5.

Scholarship Opportunities

When financial circumstances create a barrier to participation, Canton residents may be eligible to apply for a Canton Leisure Services Scholarship, which can be applied towards Leisure Services classes and programs. Recipients may receive up to $500 per individual in a calendar year.

Please note that children currently in foster care and residing in Canton are also eligible for up to $500 in financial support in a calendar year. Formal documentation will need to be provided.
