May 4, 2018, Canton, MI – Earlier today the Canton Police Department was notified of a concerning message discovered on a bathroom wall inside Canton High School—one of three high schools located at the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park (P-CEP).
The Police Department has officers on-scene conducting an investigation into the suspicious situation. Based on initial findings, P-CEP school officials are not initiating any changes to the students’ schedule at this time. School officials will continue to work closely with the police department throughout the investigation.
The Canton Police Department and Plymouth-Canton Community School District take all threats seriously, with the safety of students and staff remaining their number one priority.
