[ARCHIVED] Canton’s Village Theater Presents “80s Party: 2nd Chance Prom” Featuring Square Pegz

A Village Theater extravaganza will celebrate the decade of big hair, the explosion of pop culture, and rad music with an “80s Party: 2nd Chance Prom,” which will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at 7:30 p.m. at The Village Theater at Cherry Hill in Canton, MI.The event will feature food, drinks, and Square Pegz, one of Metro Detroit’s most popular 80’s cover band, and more! This talented group will cover the gambit of 80s hits: Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Duran Duran, Pat Benatar, The B-52’s, Blondie, Paula Abdul, Bananarama, The Go-Go’s, The Bangles, Salt-N-Pepa, Wham! – You name it, they will perform it live!

Ages 21 are invited to relive your Prom night, as an adult, the way you would have wanted to. ‘80s attire is encouraged, although not required. Prom-themed events will be held throughout the night, including a post-concert dance, the crowning of a prom king and queen, and much more!

To nominate yourself for Prom Court, post your prom or another high school photo on Facebook, tag @cantonvillagetheater and use #Canton80sProm (10 shares or 50 likes gets you nominated).

Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show are $30. One drink voucher for one complimentary beverage at the bar is included with the purchase of a ticket. A special ticket price for groups of four or more individuals is $25 each. Purchase your tickets online today at, or by calling 734/394-5300. Tickets can also be purchased at The Village Theater Box Office one hour prior to show time.
