[ARCHIVED] Police investigate suspicious phone threat

May 27, 2021, Canton, MI – Earlier this afternoon, an unknown person called in a bomb threat against Plymouth High School.  Upon being notified of the threat, school officials and the Canton Police Department assessed the situation and began an investigation which led to the evacuation of the limited number of staff and students that were within the school building at the time.

Police officials conducted a full investigation and have given an all-clear for the Plymouth High School building and the rest of the P-CEP campus. They have determined there is no threat to the safety of students or staff, and all afternoon and evening athletics and activities at P-CEP are on as scheduled at all campus locations. 

The safety and well-being of all students remains the number one priority of both the school district and the Canton Police Department.
