AUGUST 2022: PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

Fee: $20/person (Canton Residents and Non-Residents Ages 18+)
Join us for an outdoor photography workshop this summer! This workshop will consist of two components. The first is a presentation by John Middlestead that highlights the components of a good image. The second component is actually taking images with the camera on your phone or a standalone camera just outside the Village Theatre. The overall objective is for the attendee to gain an understanding of what makes a good image and putting it into practice.
No experience necessary.
This class is appropriate for ages 18 and over.
Please bring a camera or a phone with camera.

SEPTEMBER 2022: SHARPIES & ALCOHOL TILE ART WORKSHOP

Join us for a fun and relaxing evening! We will get inspired by our current art exhibition, and create beautiful artsy tiles with Sharpies and rubbing alcohol. This is a step-by-step workshop. These tiles can be used as coasters or decorative art objects when you go home!
No experience necessary.
This class is appropriate for ages 18 and over.

OCTOBER 2022: HALLOWEEN ART WORKSHOP

Celebrate the spookiest time of the year at The Gallery at Cherry Hill. We will create and decorate a haunted house with artist Sonia Giannini. We will be using different media including cardboard, moss, plastic, acrylic paint, and Halloween decorations!
No experience necessary.

NOVEMBER 2022: WET FELTING WORKSHOP - PAINTING WITH WOOL
Led by fiber artist Barb Schutzgruber

Fee: $20/person (Canton Residents and Non-Residents Ages 18+)
Felt is a non-woven material and one of the oldest methods of making fabric dating back to the Neolithic period. Nomadic peoples around the world use it to make shelters, rugs, clothing, hats, footwear, and even saddles and armor. Contemporary felt makers have expanded on this ancient method to create lightweight fabrics, vessels, sculptural works of art and wall hangings. Using colorful wool fibers, compression, moist heat and agitation. you will create a miniature work of art to take home. Bring a picture for inspiration and an old towel to the workshop.
No experience necessary.
This class is appropriate for ages 18 and over.

DECEMBER 2022: HOLIDAY CLAY GNOME ART WORKSHOP

Join us for a festive workshop! Tis' the season and create your very onw clay gnomes! We will use air-dry clay, acrylic paint, and holiday decorations. At the end of the workshop, you will have two beautiful festive gnomes to take home!
