April 21, 2015, Canton, MI – Brett Christopher Lloyd, a 42-year old Troy resident, was arraigned Saturday on six counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct involving a victim age 13-15 years old. Five of the six charges are felonies, each punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
Lloyd was arrested following an investigation that began last year after the victim reported the incident to the Canton Police Department. It is alleged that the victim originally met the suspect on a social media website.
Lloyd pled not guilty at his arraignment and bond was set at $150,000 or 10%. His preliminary exam is scheduled for May 1, 2015, at 35th District Court, 660 Plymouth Road, in Plymouth.
