This fantastic musical entertains with tap dancing, singing and plenty of belly laughs! Set in the 1920s, when silent films gave way to the new movies called “talkies,” two of the most famous silent film stars (Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont) are forced to change with the times. The plot thickens when it’s discovered that Lina’s squeaky voice is like nails on a chalkboard and Don’s chance meeting with a talented young actress, who possesses a great voice, may save the day.
Grandparents who remember the 1950s film, as well as, young children will delight in this shortened version specially adapted for little ones who can’t sit still for too long. Many of the classic songs from the iconic 1950s film, starring Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds, are included such as “Good Morning” and “Singin’ in the Rain.”
