Here are a few things Summit members and guests should know for their next visit to the Aquatic Center: - Summit Spa and Steam Room: All of these amenities are now open and available during Aquatic Center hours, which are Monday – Friday from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Lap Lane Reservations No Longer Needed: Swimmers are no longer required to reserve a lap lane since they will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. At least one lane will be open for swimmers at all times. Lap lanes can accommodate two swimmers and lane sharing is expected. Swimmers must circle swim counterclockwise or on their side of the lane. Swimmers must also swim or walk continuously while in a lane, since there is no stopping or standing in the middle of the lane. Lifejackets and fitness equipment are not permitted; fins and hand paddles can be used when there are two or less swimmers in the lane. Guests wishing to swim laps must only come during designated lap swim times. Guests under the age of 12 must pass a swim test to swim in any pool alone, and are also expected to swim continuous laps. Summit Fitness Center UpdateSummit staff has begun the process of returning the Fitness Center’s equipment that was temporarily relocated throughout the facility to its original location. Starting the week of July 5th, cardio equipment will begin to be moved during slower times at the facility to minimize distribution to guests. To facilitate the transfer of larger workout stations, the Fitness Center will be temporarily closed on Monday, July 12th. Please note during this temporary closure that all Summit fitness classes will go on as scheduled; however, those scheduled to be held in the Aerobics Studio will be moved to the Chestnut Room. If necessary, the Fitness Center and classes may also be closed on Tuesday, July 13th to accommodate these transitions. Watch for updates on our Facebook page @Summit on the Park and at www.summitonthepark.org. We apologize for this temporary inconvenience and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Summit Fitness Center. For additional information, please contact the Summit front desk at 734/394-5460.

Summit Membership UpdateFor those Summit on the Park members whose memberships have been frozen or put on hold since March 2020, please be advised that all Summit Memberships are scheduled to be reactivated on Monday, July 19, 2021. If you have already reactivated your membership, you will see no change to your current active membership. If you haven’t reactivated your membership, it will be updated at your next visit to the facility, where staff will extend memberships for active membership time lost to reflect the time our facility was closed. Again, if you are paid in full, your membership expiration will be extended to reflect our facility closing and adjusted to account for its freeze. Monthly payment plan memberships will be reactivated and draft payments will resume as of August 1, 2021.
In the coming weeks, watch for Swim Lessons, Kids’ Corner hours, and Water Aerobic Fitness classes to also return.
For more information or if you have questions about your membership, please contact membership services at 734/394-5460 or visit www.summitonthepark.org.
