No Annual Maintenance Shutdown this September

The Summit on the Park has cancelled it’s annual shutdown this September and instead will be working on deep cleaning of the facility while the Summit remains closed on Sundays due to staff shortages.  In years past, the Summit closes for Annual Maintenance beginning Labor Day afternoon and typically reopens the following Saturday.  Since there will be no Annual Maintenance Shutdown, the Summit will remain open to its members and guests. While the whole facility will not be closed for a week this September, there will be intermittent and modified closures to various parts of the building for renovations and improvements this summer and fall. These include:

  • Skylight replacements in the Gymnasium
  • New Walking Track surface
  • Gymnasium floor resealing
  • New Lockers in the Men’s and Women’s Fitness Locker Rooms

Advance notice will be provided when these area closures will take place. Please speak with a Members Services staff if you have any questions.
