Aquatic Fitness ClassesWater exercise is one of the best non-impact fitness activities around. This spring why not try one of our Aquatic Fitness classes that are easy on your joints but can help you reach new levels of fitness? A variety of these classes are available on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday mornings. All classes are drop-in, with no pre-registration required. Lifeguard Training Class The Summit on the Park's next lifeguard training program will be held April 21-24, that features the Jeff Ellis & Associates International Pool and Water Park Shallow Water Lifeguard certification that is a highly recognized certification throughout the aquatics industry. Our instructors will work to ensure that all participants are engaged in a positive learning environment. Upon successful completion of this program, participants will receive an International Pool and Water Park Shallow Water Lifeguard certificate (valid at Pools with a water depth up to 5 feet). *Note: Passing this course does not guarantee employment at this or other facilities. Please check out the online description for pre-requisites and course details.
Lifeguard Class Dates: April 21-24 (online prerequisite work is required to be done before in-person instruction) April 21: 5:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. April 22: 5:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. April 23: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. April 24: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The Summit on the Park is currently offering FREE training, for those who apply to work as a Summit Lifeguard and are hired! Participants must attend all class dates to be eligible to get certified. This course teaches important lifeguarding and life skills, such as: water rescues, first aid, AED usage, and CPR. Register online today.

Open Swim TimesCheck out the Summit's Open Swim Sessions for some water fun. View the most up-to-date Aquatic Schedule. These Open Swim times are available for our members and daily drop-in guests. All pools are scheduled to be open for play, including the Lap pool, Leisure pool, Lazy River, and Water Slide. Group Fitness Winter Group Fitness classes are available at the Summit on the Park. - Group Fitness Classes: Summit members will have complete access to all group fitness classes free of charge as part of their current Summit membership. Non-members may take fitness classes for $7/class. A current Summit membership, punch card or daily pass is required to participate.
- Specialty Group Fitness: These classes are a smaller class setting for even more individualized attention. Classes include: Barre, Lifting Ladies, Beginner Yoga, and Yo-Chi!

- Beginner Chess and Intermediate Chess: Wednesdays, April 6 - May 11. These classes are offered to individuals ages 7 and older at the beginner or intermediate level.
- Karate: Mondays & Thursdays, April 7 - May 9. Open to youth ages 5 and older. Participants will learn to develop confidence, mental focus, and coordination.
- Jump-A-Rama -Tiny Tumbles: Mondays, April 18 - May 23. Have fun exploring equipment, including: bars, trampoline, spring board, and mat.
- CodeWiz Virtual STEM Classes: These 6-week sessions are available on Tuesdays or Wednesdays beginning April 19 or 20. Virtual computer-based courses include: JAVA, Python, Roblox, Minecraft, and more!
- Ninja Warrior: Wednesdays, April 20 - May 25. Sessions are offered for ages 3-5 years and 6-10 years old. Class includes a series of interactive obstacle courses.
- KidCreate - Rainbow Fish: Saturday, April 23. Participants will create their own art masterpiece inspired by the children's book Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister.
- Live Safe Academy Babysitter Training: Sunday, April 24. Participants will receive a certificate of completion for Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid upon successful completion of the course requirements.
- Live Safe Academy Pet Sitter Training: Sunday, April 24. This program is offered as an add-on after the Babysitter Training class to also learn how to become a certified pet sitter.
- Preschool Volleyball with Tumblebunnies: Spring and Summer sessions available beginning Tuesdays, April 26 or June 28. Get your child moving with fun skills and interactive activities.

Conquer the Park Sprint TriathlonOn Saturday, May 21, channel your inner triathlete for a sprint competition, where participants will complete a 200-meter swim, 2-mile bike, and a 1-mile run. Swimming will take place in the 25-yard lap pool with split lanes in the Summit Aquatic Center. Biking and running will take place in Heritage Park. Finishers will receive a T-Shirt and medal. Road Rally Fundraiser for the Canton Cares FundSaturday, April 23, 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon of clue reveal and navigation, as you follow all of the puzzles and riddles that will take you all over the surrounding area!
