Every year Canton Liberty Fest brings the entire community together for a wonderful celebration and the success of this beloved annual event is due in large part to our amazing volunteers, who step up and support Canton. Now more than ever we need volunteer support for this year's community festival! Plenty of exciting opportunities are available, including: Welcome and Information Booth Greeters, Bike Corral assistants, Adult Beer and Wine Garden helpers, and more!
We are going to be very honest! Your support will go a long way to ensuring that this year's event is one for the memory books! If you've ever enjoyed any of Canton's wonderful amenities at any of our parks, trails, or facilities, here's your chance to give back! Find detailed information below.

Volunteer OpportunitiesWELCOME AND INFORMATION BOOTH GREETERS:Volunteers will greet guests, pass out festival information and provide directions to event attractions. BIKE CORRAL ATTENDEES:Volunteers will help check bikes in and out at the bike corrals and keep watch on them while guests enjoy their time at the festival. ADULT BEER & WINE GARDEN HELPERS:Volunteers will check ID's, sell tickets and water, clear tables, and pour beverages. Must be 21 years of age or older to participate. ADULT BEER & WINE GARDEN MONITORS:Volunteers will monitor entranceways to ensure adult beverages do not leave the designated beverage area. Must be 21 years of age or older to participate.

How To Become A Volunteer:
1. Fill out our Adult or Youth volunteer application that can be found at www.cantonfun.org. (Please note: application must be filled out in its entirety in order to be processed)
2. Return the completed form via email to our Volunteer Coordinator, Heather VanHartesveldt, at hvanhartesveldt@canton-mi.org, via fax at 734/394-5319, or in-person or by mail at 1150 S. Canton Center Rd, 3rd Floor
3. Volunteer Coordinator will contact you with open volunteer positions.

Please Note: Volunteers MUST be 14 years of age or older to volunteer without a parent or guardian with them at all times.

All Liberty Fest volunteers MUST attend one training session. Staff will discuss Canton Leisure Services policies and procedures, event information, customer service expectations, and emergency information. Volunteers will also receive their Liberty Fest T-Shirt at the training.
