Canton's 25th Annual Liberty Fest

The excitement is starting to build as final preparations are underway for this year's Liberty Fest, which will take place this week in Heritage Park, located behind the Canton’s Administration Building, west of Canton Center Road between Cherry Hill Road and Summit Parkway.  

This year’s event will be held Thursday, June 16 from 1 p.m. – 11 p.m., Friday, June 17 from 1 p.m. - 11 p.m.  and Saturday, June 18 from 10 a.m. – 11 p.m.  Make plans to attend Canton's largest community celebration, which offers plenty of entertainment, great food, and fabulous fun that the whole family can enjoy.

Discounted Carnival Wristbands Still Available

If you haven't purchased your Liberty Fest discounted wristbands yet, be sure to get them online before time runs out!  Discounted single-day wristbands are available for $22 that can be used for any full-day if purchased online before June 16th at Noon. Wristbands will be available for purchase onsite for $22 on Thursday, $25 on Friday and $27 on Saturday.  

Looking for the ultimate thrill?  Then be sure to purchase a three-day all-ride Megaband for $60, which is available online only and must be purchased by Thursday, June 16 at Noon. Online sales require a $0.99 per transaction fee. Single-ride tickets are also available for purchase onsite for 4 tickets for $5 or a sheet of 50 tickets for $50.  All sales are final.

5th Annual Liberty Run 

Canton Liberty Fest is once again parting with Running Fit of Ann Arbor to host the 5th annual Canton Liberty Run, which will include 5K, 10K, and One Mile events on Saturday, June 18, 2016. All races will start at the clock tower corner of Veterans Way and Civic Center Boulevard, located adjacent to the north end of the Canton Public Library parking lot. Participants are encouraged to run, walk or stroll the courses through neighborhood streets and the scenic Lower Rouge Trail. Race times are: 5K race at 8:00 a.m.; 10K race at 8:30 a.m.; and the One Mile Fun Run at 10:15 a.m. This year’s Liberty Run participants are encouraged to be ‘Patriotic in Plaid’ by wearing red, white, blue and plaid apparel for a chance to win a prize. A portion of all entry fees will help fund recreation and trail improvements in Canton, MI.  Register today!
