“Hidden Figures.” See this incredible untold story of brilliant African-American women working at NASA, who served as the brains of the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit. The visionary trio crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big. Register by August 8. Participants may want to bring a sweater; the room is a bit chilly.

Blood Pressure Screening

Book an appointment for this free service by calling 734/394-5485. Blood pressure readings provided by Rite Choice.

Nutritional – Congregate Meals
Lunch is served Monday-Friday, 11:30 a.m.
at the Summit on the Park in the Oak Room.
No charge for ages 60 and older; a suggested donation of $3 is encouraged. There is a $5 fee for ages 60 and younger. Reservations are required by 12 p.m. the day prior; call 394-5485 ext. 1253. Menus available in the Parkview Room.

Mah Jongg Lessons
Thursdays, September 14 - October 5
11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Learn to play the American version of Mah Jongg. Please register at the Club 55+ desk or online by September 11. Limited spaces available.

Senior Summit

Monday, September 11
8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. 
The 15th annual Canton Area Senior Summit, hosted by Canton Supervisor Pat Williams. Enjoy a continental breakfast, box lunch, goody bag, and door prizes. The day includes a variety of workshops, health screenings and informational booths hosted by area community service and health providers.
