Butterfly Ball Ticket Sales Continue

This Valentine's tradition returns to the Summit on the Park Gymnasium in 2018. Enjoy a night of dancing to age-appropriate music, refreshments, a special butterfly souvenir & the always exciting balloon-drop at the end of the party. Keepsake photos are available for an additional cost. Semi-formal/dressy-casual attire is recommended. Advance ticket purchase is REQUIRED & space is limited. Please be advised that this program fills up quickly! Walk-ins will not be accepted.

Tickets are currently on sale at the Summit front desk for Residents and will go on sale for non-residents on January 17. PLEASE NOTE: TICKET SALES END FOR EVERYONE ON FEBRUARY 1 - We apologize, however, there will be no exceptions. Tickets will not be available for sale on the night of the dance.

Conquer the Summit - Indoor Triathlon

Looking for a reason to keep up your training indoors? Enjoy competing in our 3rd Annual Indoor Triathlon. Participants will compete in a 10-minute swim, 30-minute bike, and a 20-minute run with 10-minute transition time between each event. Swim will take place in the Summit Aquatic Center. Biking will be held on upright stationary bike in the aerobic studio. Running will be done on treadmills within the fitness center. Call the Summit on the Park for more information at 734/394-5460.

Canton Club 55+

Eastern Michigan Basketball Game

Inter-generational Field Trip
Saturday, February 3 from 11am – 3pm.
Spend the day cheering on the Eastern Michigan University Eagles Men’s' Basketball team. After the game, enjoy a visit from Swoop the Mascot and get your picture taken on the court! You can bring a friend or even a family member. This is an inter-generational field trip offered through Club 55+, BLOCK Teen and Youth Center & Canton Leisure Club. Limited tickets available. Please register by January 19th. Transportation will be provided via Canton Township, which will be leaving the Summit at 11:15 a.m. Fee: $7. Valentine’s Day Celebration

Wednesday, February 14
Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a friend or a loved one at our late morning High Tea, Tea party. Enjoy finger foods, desserts, and activities, followed by a romantic comedy move at 1:00 p.m. Please register by February 7 by calling Canton Club 55+ at 734/394-5485.

Tax Preparation Services

February 5 - April 17: By appointment only.
Sponsored by the AARP (neither Canton Township, the individual tax counselors nor AARP assume liability). The first available appointments will be the week of February 5, 2018.  Appointments are only available on Mondays & Tuesdays 9:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Please call 734/394-5485 to make your appointment and get a list of what you need to bring with you to the appointment. Bartlett's Kids Club

Area families are invited to join us on the 3rd Saturday of each month for "Family Fun Days" that focus on family time with fun themed engaging activities.

January 20, 12:00-1:30 p.m. - Celebrate Winter Olympics
Start off the new year by grabbing your passport on a voyage to South Korea. Kids Club members will learn about the popular culture of South Korea prior to the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics. You won't want to miss this opportunity to travel abroad, while getting to test your skills with winter Olympic sports such as curling, and hockey while staying right in your hometown of Canton. 

Open swim to follow from 1:30-5:30 pm.
Pre-registration is required. Summit Members are FREE!
