Canton's 24th Annual Liberty Fest

Join us for three action-packed, fun-filled days that the whole family will enjoy--Thursday, June 18 through Saturday, June 20 in beautiful Heritage Park, located behind the Canton Administration Building and the Canton Public Library, just west of Canton Center Road between Cherry Hill and Summit Parkway. As always, entry into the festival grounds is FREE! Canton’s largest community celebration continues its tradition of offering plenty of fabulous fun for all ages. Carnival Armbands/Tickets
Discounted single-day wristbands are available for $20 and can be used for any full day if purchased at www.cantonlibertyfest.com before June 18, 12 p.m. Wristbands will be available for purchase on-site for $22 on Thursday, $25 on Friday, and $28 on Saturday. Purchase a three-day all-ride Megaband for $55 – available ONLINE ONLY and must be purchased prior to June 18 at 12 p.m.  Online sales require a $.99 per transaction fee. All sales are final.

Summit Liberty Fest Membership Special

In honor of Liberty Fest, the Summit on the Park is currently offering a Liberty Fest Membership Special.  Purchase an Annual Membership and save 19%! Why 19% you ask? The Summit has been open for business serving the residents of Canton for 19 years. Are your kids ready for summer vacation? The B.L.O.C.K. Youth & Teen Center is offering "Summer Stay-cation" for youth ages 11-17. From June 15 - August 28, kids can participate in fun activities in a safe environment.

Shakespeare Festival

Michigan Shakespeare Festival

The Village Theater at Cherry Hill is teaming up with the Michigan Shakespeare Festival to bring several special performances to Canton this summer.  From July 29 - August 16, the Michigan Shakespeare Festival will present its 2015 Season lineup at The Village Theater at Cherry Hill, located at 50400 Cherry Hill Road.  Performances will include: William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and “Henry IV,” along with Richard Brinsley Sheridan’s “The Rivals.” Don’t miss these quality productions, featuring respected and professional Equity Actors.  Get your tickets now at www.cantonvillagetheater.org or call 734/394-5300 for more information.

Canton Dog Park Yappy Hour

Yappy Hour is a great opportunity to mingle with other dog lovers at the Dog Park. Snacks for 2 and 4-legged friends will be provided and there will be plenty of free giveaways! No pre-registration is necessary, however, Dog Park membership is required. Yappy Hour Dates: June 27, July 25, and August 22 from 11 am - 12 pm.

Location: Heritage Park Amphitheater
On June 25, Kevin and the Glen Levens will grace the stage with Americana and Pop music.  Be sure to bring blankets or folding chairs so you can relax on the Amphitheater lawn.  Joining us each week will be Crusin’ Custom Coneys and Good Humor so come hungry!
