Star of Sprout Channel's "Sunny Side Up" Coming to Canton's Village Theater This Weekend 

Tim Kubart, the 2016 Grammy Award Winner for ‘Best Children’s Album’ and host, producer, writer for Sprout Channel’s-‘Sunny Side Up’ is performing live at the Village Theater at Cherry Hill in Canton, MI on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 2:00 p.m.  Tim’s performance is an engaging, interactive set of original songs and stories. As a Songwriter/Composer, Tim has also composed songs for Sesame Street including “We Can All Be Friends”, the introductory song for Julia, the first Muppet with autism.  Tim is on a never ending tour playing concerts for kids and families and has performed thousands of times in every situation imaginable. This time, we are honored to welcome him to our theater, where we will dance and sing along with him! 

Tim Kubart is potentially still best known as “Tambourine Guy”, a longstanding cast member of the viral music collective and internationally touring Postmodern Jukebox.  The internet sensation has garnered over 4 million YouTube subscribers, nearly one billion views, and the number one spot on the jazz iTunes charts for 10 consecutive albums.  Performance highlights include New York’s Radio City Music Hall, LA’s Greek Theatre, Denver’s Red Rocks Amphitheater, London’s Roundhaus, Paris’L’Olympia, and Moscow’s Crocus City Hall.
